CHARGE UP YOUR DRIVE IN THE 2023 NISSAN ARIYA

Published on Oct 25, 2023 by Pete Mankins Team

If you’re shopping for an electric vehicle, you owe it to yourself to check out Nissan’s all-new contender. Whether a spacious cabin, supple ride, or advanced features top your wish list, this SUV has it all. To stir up your excitement, here are a few ways to charge up your drive in the 2023 Ariya.

OUTSTANDING ELECTRIC POWERTRAIN

Nissan offers the 2023 Ariya in four configurations, starting with the standard 63-kWh battery pack that charges either a single 214-horsepower electric motor or a pair that produce 335 horsepower. However, most models feature an 87-kWh battery that puts out even more power: between 238 and 389 horsepower. The dual-motor setup, called e-4ORCE, also provides the added traction of all-wheel drive.

EXTENDED DRIVING RANGE

The Nissan Ariya’s driving range varies depending on the trim. For example, the front-wheel-drive Venture+ equipped with the available 87-kWh battery outperforms the lineup with 304 miles. On the other hand, the Engage model with the stock 63-kWh battery and all-wheel drive will travel approximately 205 miles on electric power alone.

FAST CHARGING TIMES

The quickest way to charge the 2023 Ariya is at a DC fast charging station, where you can usually reach 80% capacity in under 90 minutes. Plugging in at a 240-volt outlet will fully charge your new crossover in 10 to 14 hours, while a standard 120-volt household outlet will get you up to 2 miles of range per hour.

UPSCALE INTERIOR

The all-new Ariya offers seating for five passengers. Its base cabin is impressive beyond its price point, plus you can pile on numerous upgrades, from genuine leather upholstery to heated, ventilated front seats. This SUV’s sleek, modern styling is a welcoming place to spend your commute. The supportive front seats are well cushioned, and even tall passengers will find plenty of head and legroom in the front row. In addition, Nissan did an excellent job of keeping the interior shielded from wind and road noise.

LOADS OF SAFETY FEATURES

Nissan included a wealth of driver-assistance features standard on the 2023 Ariya as part of the company’s Safety Shield 360 suite. You’ll appreciate the added confidence of adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning, and automatic high beams. In addition, several cameras keep an eye on what’s happening around you, from front and rear parking sensors and collision warning to blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert. This bundle also offers pedestrian detection, traffic-sign recognition, lane-keep assist, driver-attention monitoring, and forward automatic emergency braking.

SMOOTH RIDE

One of the best things about the all-new Ariya is driving it is a pleasure. Charge up your commute with its responsive, lightly weighted steering. This crossover handles well, and you’ll also love how easy it is to park this SUV in congested areas. Most drivers don’t notice any real body lean during tight cornering maneuvers, despite its 2-ton heft. Its suspension provides an exceptionally comfy and serene ride, absorbing bumps and dips in the pavement with confidence.

Now those are some features that will really charge up your drive. So contact your neighborhood Nissan showroom today and schedule a test drive of the all-new 2023 Ariya.
